The project delved into exploring the potential benefits of data-driven machine learning methods for 5G, specifically by comparing deep learning models for channel estimation within the context of FunKI. Through this investigation, the project aimed to contribute insights into the efficacy of various deep learning approaches in improving channel estimation for enhanced 5G communication systems. In the process, the project provided an opportunity to develop and refine skills in data analysis, preprocessing techniques, and computer vision-based image reconstruction, thereby advancing proficiency in key areas relevant to the application of machine learning in the telecommunications domain.
